1. What oil types are used with the E+H Pressure Transmitter?

Many different types of fill fluids (and their diaphragm seals, if specified) are used in the metal measuring cells of pressure transmitters. The fill fluid used depends on the requirements of the intended application and is influenced by factors such as the required operating temperature, FDA compliance, or site compliance only. 2. How does the E+H Pressure Transmitter work?

Differential pressure transmitters usually operate around a central measuring unit. Independent pressures are applied to either side of the measuring cell, and if these pressures are the same, the cells remain in a common neutral position. If one pressure is higher than the other, this will force the measurement cell to deflect, resulting in a positive (or negative, depending on direction) reading.

3. How to calibrate the E+H Pressure Transmitter?

Pressure transmitters can be calibrated dry (no reference pressure present) or wet (reference pressure present).

Dry calibration steps:

"Pressure" is selected via the measurement mode parameter
Select the pressure unit via "Press eng.". unit" (e.g. mbar)
Select the Set LRV parameter to enter a low range value for dry calibration (eg 0 mbar)
Select the "Set URV" parameter to enter an upper limit value (eg 200 mbar)
